One of the great Mughal cities of South Asia, Agra alternated with Delhi as their capital for nearly 200 years. Located about 204 km south of Delhi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Agra is one of the most famous tourist spots of the country. The city, situated on the west bank of the river Yamuna, is known by the world famous Taj Mahal.

Arrive into Agra. On arrival, transfer from the airport or the railway station to your hotel for a stay of 2 nights. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Spend the morning exploring the grand monuments of Agra. Visit the stunning Taj Mahal and later the majestic Agra Fort. (Note that the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays). The afternoon is free.
