Kasauli is a serene hill-station in Himachal Pradesh resplendent with breathtaking beauty and panoramic views. It is located 1,927 metres above sea level and just 70 kms from Chandigarh. This picturesque hill-station, oozing old-world charm is covered with tall Deodar, wild flowers, rhododendrons, wild roses, flame of the forest, and flowering Kichnar in summer and is a popular hub for bird-watchers. Winters, with snowfall, are beautiful too.
Kasauli was developed as a cantonment-sanatorium over 20 years, after the British had based themselves at Shimla.

Arrive at Chandigarh railway station on your own. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kasauli (51 kms. - 1.5 hour drive) for 2 nights. The afternoon is at leisure.

The full day is free. Why not take an optional tour and visit Shimla on a day trip (approximately 3 hours drive each way).
