Nestled in the high ranges of Kerala amidst forests and well-manicured tea slopes, is the beautiful hill station of Munnar. Still retaining the character of a British Tea Plantation, its tropical forests is home to a variety of wildlife, the most special being the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

Your tour begins from Cochin as you drive to the hill station of Munnar (127 kms/4 hour drive), where on arrival you will check into your hotel for a two nights stay. The rest of the day is at leisure.

The morning, the day is free for you to explore this picturesque hill station on your own. To feel the essence of this British tea plantation, visit a tea estate and the center of Old Munnar where you will see the Christ Church - a charming small church containing its original 14 rows of wooden pews and Mount Carmel - a Roman Catholic church which was the first Catholic Church in the High Ranges.
