This quiet little hill station on the Servaroyan hills (Shevaroy) stands at an altitude of 1,500 meters. Scenically, Yercaud is akin to the Western ghats, enchanting and picturesque. The major attraction is the lake where one can go boating. Apart from this the lake area makes for a great promenade.

Your tour commences from Salem railway station where you will arrive on your own. You will be met and transferred to Yercaud (32 Km.) where you will be booked to stay for 2 nights. The rest of the day is free.

The day can be spent visiting a small artificial lake with Anna Park nearby and Lady's seat which has wonderful views across the Salem plains. You can also visit Shevaroyan Temple, on top of the third highest peak in the hill range.
