Daman, right to the south of Gujarat, the 56-sq-km enclave was taken from the Portuguese at the same time as Goa. There is still a lingering Portuguese flavour to the town, with its fine old forts and a number of churches. Like Goa, Daman is beside the sea.

Arrive into Vapi on your own. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Daman (13 kms. - 20 minutes drive) for 2 nights. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the facilities of your hotel.

The day is free to explore your surroundings. You can visit the oldest Parsi temple in Udwada (45 minutes drive from Daman), the Bordi beach (1 hour drive). Daman has in its vicinity, a water park called 'Vaibhav'.

Transfer back to Vapi railway station for your onward journey where your tour ends.
